- The results that people have achieved using this software.

Helpful Note: Russell Brunson is one of the creators and founders of ClickFunnels.
I’m getting ahead of myself though.
This easy to use online business tool is going to be perfect for helping you:
- Create landing pages and sales funnels to collect leads.
- And then utilize those sales funnels to turn leads into customers.
ClickFunnels also comes with many more features that I’ll be mentioning below.
Before we get started, I do want to let you know that they come with a free trial.
I’ll leave a link to a tutorial post that shows you how to quickly get started.
Helpful Post: Step by step ClickFunnels free trial tutorial.

ClickFunnels Landing Pages, Memberships, And Sales Funnels
So allow me to be very blunt when it comes to ClickFunnels vs Shopify here:
ClickFunnels is the best option for creating landing pages and sales funnels.
After all, this is the main focal point of what ClickFunnels has to offer.
Plus, they are one of the best sales funnel builders that’s currently on the market.
Related: A list of the top sales funnel builders.
Let’s talk a little bit more about why creating pages and funnels is so important.
First and foremost, you can create any type of landing page that you could ever imagine.
Here are a few examples of the pages and funnels that ClickFunnels allows you to create:
- Membership sites.
- Lead generation pages.
- High ticket webinar funnels.
- Sales letters and video sales letters to sell your products.
Creating all of these assets is a big thanks to their smooth drag and drop editor.
There’s also the option to use a pre-built share funnel that you got from someone else.
ClickFunnels even works for eCommerce which I’ll be talking about in the next section.
This is only scratching the surface when it comes to the tools and perks that ClickFunnels offers.
As shown above, ClickFunnels even comes with their very own shopping cart.
This is beneficial because you won’t have to pay extra to get a third-party cart.
Related: Details about the ClickFunnels shopping cart.
The ClickFunnels shopping cart comes with a lot of flexibility too, allowing you to:
- Sell physical products.
- Sell products and services.
- Leverage numerous amount of payment gateways.
There’s also the profitable order bump feature that you can see in the screenshot above.
This allows you to sell an extra single product at the bottom (or top) of your checkout page.
The best part about it is that your customers only have to check off a box to purchase it.
It’s a feature that comes highly recommended.
This funnel software also comes with the amazing ability to create and run webinars.
At the time of writing this, running webinars is certainly something that Shopify doesn’t offer.
The image above showcases what it looks like for creating auto webinar funnels.
You can add as many funnel steps, or remove as many funnel steps as you like.
It’s very flexible.
In the meantime, I’m going to add another link where you can learn more about this tool.
It’s my review where I really go in-depth with that ClickFunnels has to offer.

I also talk about the pros and cons when it comes to using that tool as well.
However, the pros heavily outweigh the cons (which is something that you always want to see).
Before we move to the pricing, I want to talk about one more big benefit from ClickFunnels.
It’s something that not too many people realize this software can do.
ClickFunnels For eCommerce
So yes it is true, you can use ClickFunnels to sell e-Commerce products.
The example above is part of a very short sales funnel that only utilizes three steps:
- Order form (same as a shopping cart).
- One-click upsell (also referred to as a ClickFunnels OTO page).
- Lastly is going to be the order confirmation where you can sell more products.
You can even use this software when it comes to creating funnels for selling t-shirts.
I obviously bring this up because it has the biggest overlap when compared to Shopify.
In fact, ClickFunnels certainly has more tools to help you make more sales with e-Commerce.
When creating your e-Commerce sales funnel, as previously mentioned, you can also:
- Utilize multiple payment gateways.
- Run A B split tests all throughout your funnel.
- You can also combine that with ClickFunnels email marketing campaigns.
Or maybe you want to utilize a third-party email marketing platform as well.
That’s going to be entirely up to you.
Just keep that in mind when you go to create any type of marketing funnels.
ClickFunnels also comes with a few templates that you can use for your online store:
Up above is an example of a ClickFunnels online store template for you to see.
All in all, Shopify provides many more templates compared to ClickFunnels.
As they should, given the fact that they are completely focused on eCommerce stores.
You can find out for yourself when you give ClickFunnels a free trial using the link below:
You might be wondering just how much it’s going to cost to use this marketing tool.
Let’s now take a look at the pricing plans that come along with ClickFunnels.

As shown above, there are two pricing packages that come along with ClickFunnels.
Here is the quick list for you:
- ClickFunnels basic plan is $97 per month.
- ClickFunnels Platinum plan is $297 per month.
Helpful Note: The Platinum plan used to be called the Etison Suite.
It had changed names not too long ago (in case you were wondering where it went).
Either way, you can see above that the number of pages and funnels changes with each plan.
- The basic plan gives you 20 funnels/100 pages.
- The Platinum plan gives you pages and marketing funnels unlimited.
There are going to be some other big perks that come along with the Platinum plan.
For example, you get Followup Funnels which is their version of an email marketing tool.
You can use that or do what I do and utilize a third party autoresponder.
Either way, you can learn more about the pricing and perks in the related post below.

Either way, ClickFunnels has a serious advantage over what Shopify provides.
This is simply for the fact that they can also handle selling physical products as well.
However, Shopify does have a few tricks up their sleeve.
Let’s flip the ClickFunnels vs Shopify script and see what they have to offer as well.
Shopify Software: Features, Tools, And Price
So let’s get started by making sure we know exactly what Shopify can do.
I added a screenshot of their website above which states:
Start a business, with everything you need all in one place.
Just by going with that tagline, you would think that Shopify and ClickFunnels were identical.
I would personally add another word in there to make it easier to understand:
Start an eCommerce business, with everything you need all in one place.
That makes the ClickFunnels vs Shopify comparison super simple:
- Shopify is perfect for eCommerce businesses.
- ClickFunnels is perfect for landing pages and sales funnels (and also does eCommerce).
I’m getting too far ahead of myself again as I’ll talk more about that in the grand finale.
Before we begin, I want to let you know that Shopify also comes with a free trial as well.

Helpful Note: You don’t even need a credit card to start your free Shopify trial.
Now I mentioned Shopify quite a bit when I was talking about ClickFunnels previously.
So keep in mind that I won’t need to go into as much detail when talking about Shopify.
Nevertheless, here are some of the biggest Shopify features.
Shopify Online Stores
Spoiler Alert: Shopify is a beast when it comes to selling eCommerce/physical products.
You’ll also get a wide variety of professional looking themes for your Shopify store.
Just keep in mind that there’s a combination of both free and paid themes for your store.
In terms of pros and cons, I would certainly like to see many more free themes.
But that’s just my personal opinion though.
So we know that Shopify will help you create your online store to sell your products.
That’s the well-known part of Shopify.
A lot of people don’t realize just what Shopify stores are capable of helping you with.
As stated previously, you can get started by choosing the perfect theme for your Shopify store.
This benefits you because you won’t have to start from scratch (which takes a lot of time).
You can see an example of a boxing theme that I really happen to like:
I went ahead and counted, you Shopify comes with 70 great themes to choose from.
In fact, they could have added many more by the time you’ve read this article.
When creating your online store, you can also attach your very own custom domains.
Here are a few other perks that come along with creating your Shopify store:
- You can utilize HTML and CSS (not my favorite).
- They are mobile-optimized (that’s a standard nowadays).
- They come with a web-based builder as well as a full blogging platform.
Now it’s easy to see that Shopify is big on creating websites for selling products.
However, I also recommend that you use WordPress exclusively for your website and blog.
Especially if you want to be a blogger.
This is a topic that I always mention when it comes to software and websites.
I’ll leave a couple of references down below where I talk about this topic.
In the meantime, I recommend that you keep reading on as we’re almost at the end.

There’s also the ability to add your Shopify products to WordPress with a plugin.
So at least you can use your own WordPress website and still sell with Shopify.
Nevertheless, those are some details when it comes to creating Shopify stores.
This is another big feature when it comes to ClickFunnels and Shopify.
Shopify Checkout Pages
Shopify also comes with its very own checkout pages to help you sell your products.
What’s great about their checkout pages is that they have a few great perks such as:
- You get a free SSL certificate.
- You can utilize discounts and promotions.
- There’s an abandoned checkout recovery feature.
- You can accept credit cards and there are well over 100 payment gateways.
Helpful Note: Shopify overall offers more payment processors than ClickFunnels.
Shopify also states that checking out is going to be 60% faster compared to other tools.
Yes, and that means ClickFunnels too.
Some of the biggest benefits when it comes to having a rapid checkout include:
- Not losing any customers due to having an extended period of loading time.
- Because of that, you’ll also be able to make more sales.
Either way, I’ve never experienced slow loading times from the ClickFunnels shopping cart.
Do please keep in mind that Shopify has so many features.
You can also choose from using a mobile app or many apps with Shopify in general.
Heck, you can even utilize gift cards for your online store.
I’d recommend checking out their homepage below to see many more of their tools:
