Comparing Landing Pages & Sales Funnels
GetResponse used to be 100% about email marketing.
That is until they started to add other features such as landing pages and sales funnels.
So who is the bigger powerhouse when it comes to these two massive features?
Let’s start with Kartra and find out.
Kartra Landing Pages & Sales Funnels
This is what Kartra is primarily about, and in fact, it’s one of the top sales funnel builders.
Related: List of the top sales funnel builders.
This software allows you to:
- Create, market, and launch online.
- Without hiring a team of copywriters, web developers, or designers.

So with that being said, and also testing out both of these tools?
I’d have to say that Kartra is the easy winner when it comes to landing pages and sales funnels.
They have templates for creating lots of different landing pages and funnels as well:
- Coming soon.
- Squeeze pages.
- Thank you pages.
- Long sales pages.
- Video sales pages.
- Product launch pages.
- Product review pages.
- Webinar registration pages.
Note: You will need separate webinar software to run webinars along with Kartra.
Plus their block templates within their editor was very helpful (shown below):
And don’t forget about being able to create membership too as well.
Creating memberships was certainly a highlight of using Kartra.
Talk about both easy to use and very customizable (shown demoing below):
All in all.
Kartra is much more advanced when it comes to sales funnels and landing pages.
After all, this is what their software is primarily about (along with other features).
Oh and I almost forgot.
There’s a way to extend and more than double that trial duration.
I did a complete walkthrough post down below if you’d like to see the simple steps.

Here’s what GetResponse has to offer for landing pages and sales funnels.
GetResponse Landing Pages & Sales Funnels
GetResponse isn’t too shabby when it comes to landing pages.
After all, here are some of the perks that you can expect from them:
- A B testing.
- Drag and drop editor.
- 100% responsive design.
- 100+ landing page templates.
Here’s an example of some of the landing pages that come along with GetResponse:
Not the worst sales templates in the world (if you ask me).
Note: I still prefer something a little more simple and a little less colorful.
After choosing your template, you get to name your landing page and then start editing it.
Their drag and drop builder isn’t too bad.
It’s a true drag and drop builder in the sense that you can drag something anywhere you want.
You’re not restricted.
Here is an example of making changes to a landing page in their editor:
All in all.
Being able to create landing pages and sales funnels with GetResponse is a nice bonus.
However, it’s hard for them to compete with some of the companies that primarily focus on this.
Like Kartra, for example.
Don’t just take my word for it though.
Let’s move onto the other biggest topic when it comes to GetResponse vs Kartra.
Comparing Email Marketing
Allow me to be very straight forward when it comes to this specific section.
GetResponse takes the cake here.
After all.
GetResponse has been doing email marketing ever since 1998 (that’s like the dinosaur age).
They know a thing or two when it comes to getting your emails to your loyal subscribers.
Let’s start again with Kartra when it comes to comparing email marketing.
Kartra Email Marketing & Automation
Even though I think GetResponse does email marketing better?
It doesn’t mean that Kartra is a bad choice.
Far from it.
You can do quite a few things when it comes to email marketing:
- Automate your email campaigns.
- Personalize your message and emails.
- Make automations based on behaviors.
- Split-test your subject lines and track your conversions.
Kartra even comes with comprehensive statistics for your email marketing:
Note: The image above is compliments of Kartra.
This is a nice little perk if you happen to be like me and love checking out your stats.
Anyway.
Let’s take a look at what GetResponse has to offer in terms of email marketing.
GetResponse Email Marketing & Automation
Might as well start with one of my favorite aspects of GetResponse: Their autoresponder.
I liked this feature so much that I did a complete tutorial about it too.
In a nutshell, this is the process of automating all of your emails being sent.
- You create an email and then choose when you want it to be sent out.
- Repeat the process for as long as you want.
This is the perfect way to automate your email marketing (for as long as you like too).
Here is another big benefit when it comes to GetResponse vs Kartra email marketing.
You can send an unlimited amount of emails with GetResponse.
This is going to be beneficial if you have a bigger list and plan on sending out to them often.
GetResponse also utilizes a drag and drop editor when it comes to creating emails:
It’s not the sexiest editor in the world (but it gets the job done).
Lastly, and similar to Kartra, there’s the ability to set up marketing automation.
As stated similarily by GetResponse, this is referred to as:
Visualizing your desired customer journey and bringing it to life.
This allows you to utilize conditions such as:
- Clicked.
- Subscribes.
- Cart abandoned.
Actions based on selected conditions like:
- Tag.
- Score.
- Send email.
And don’t forget about applying filters such as:
- Range.
- Amount.
- Dynamic segment.
All of these rules allow you to automate the path of your customers.
Are you curious to see what GetResponse is all about when it comes to email marketing?
So now that I’ve compared the biggest aspects when it comes to these tools:
- Landing pages and sales funnels.
- Email marketing and automation.
Let’s take a closer look at what you’d be looking to invest for each of these software tools.
Kartra And GetResponse Investments
I wouldn’t say that there is a winner when it comes to this specific section.
After all, the pricing is going to depend on many features and factors.
Let’s start with Kartra first.
So How Much Is Kartra?

- Kartra Starter Plan is only $99 per month.

Related: All of the Kartra perks and pricing revealed.
Now onto GetResponse.
So How Much Is GetResponse?
GetResponse isn’t as simple when it comes to their plans and costs.
This is because they have two things that help fluctuate the prices:
- The plan that you choose.
- How many subscribers that you need.
With that being said.
Here are the prices for each plan for having only up to 1,000 subscribers:
- Basic is $15 per month.
- Plus price is $49 per month.
- Professional is $99 per month.
There is also the Enterprise plan but that’s for when you need over 100,000 subscribers.
You can also get a really big discount if you pay once every 12 or 24 months.
So now that you know all of the biggest details when it comes to these two companies?
Let’s move onto the grand finale.
