How To Use ClickFunnels For Affiliate Marketing (Full Funnel Tutorial)
Using ClickFunnels for affiliate marketing is a topic that’s near and dear to my heart.
After all, we’re looking at getting the best of both worlds here:
- Software.
- Affiliate marketing.
Two of the biggest reasons why I first created the Isolated Marketing website.
Nevertheless, let’s get right into the swing of things (you’ll love what I have to show you).
How To Use ClickFunnels For Affiliate Marketing: Introduction & Explanation
As you can see above, I love using ClickFunnels for affiliate marketing.
It works very well, too.
In fact, it works so well that I created 60 entire landing pages in that specific sales funnel.
You don’t need that many, I just happen to be a little crazy when it comes to automation 😛
Plus, creating landing pages and sales funnels with this tool is pretty simple.
So simple that they made one of the top choices in terms of sales funnel builders online.
Top Funnel Builders: Get the inside scoop here.
Alright, let’s now take a look at the first part of the process:
- A visitor lands on a landing page that offers a gift.
- That visitor then opts-in and gets sent to the next page (the thank you page).
They also get sent the first email followup in the background as well.
So those are the first initial steps of the process.
Allow me to show you how those are done and then we will move forward.
The ClickFunnels Affiliate Optin Page
The picture above comes from an inside look of the ClickFunnels editor.
Nevertheless.
It’s the perfect demonstration of what an affiliate opt-in page should look like.
Did You Know: This is the same when promoting MLM and network marketing offers.
Here are the important elements that you should include on this landing page:
- What they are getting (free cheatsheet).
- Big benefit headline (the 130 best affiliate offers).
- Download now button which opens a pop-up for them to enter their email.
Pretty simple right?
I’m sure that you’ve seen a million affiliate marketing squeeze pages in the past.
So after someone enters their email, two things happen:
- They get sent their first follow-up.
- They also get sent to the thank you page.
Here is what that looks like.
The ClickFunnels Affiliate Thank You Page
So, as you might have expected, thank you pages are pretty darn simple.
Here are the elements that you’ll want to include on your affiliate thank you page:
- Some type of headline at the top (thank you, congrats, this is not a sales video, etc).
- A video (or ext) discussing topic details as well as how to access their download.
- A button where they can download what they came from.
And then you are very flexible when it comes to what else you’d like to include.
Here are a few more examples:
- A button (or link) to your Facebook group or YouTube channel.
- Your affiliate link for a highly-related offer (or even a webinar).
There’s plenty of real estate on this page (so to speak).
So make sure that you make the most of it.
The First Follow-Up Email
Remember how I said that they would be receiving their first followup email?
This is that section.
Email autoresponders are amazing because once you write your emails?
They are sent out automatically (or what we like to refer to as: on autopilot).
I don’t want to spend a lot of time on the first email because it is very straight-forward.
Here are the main elements:
- Remind them that they opted-in to get their free download.
- Provide a link to where they can get their gift again (in case they didn’t download it).
- Let them know what they will be receiving from you in the future (some big benefits here).
And that’s about it.
So here are the actions that we’ve completed so far in this tutorial post:
- Someone opted-in and got their free download.
- They were added to your list and sent the first email follow-up.
Now we get into the juiciest part of this ClickFunnels affiliate marketing funnel.
The ClickFunnels 4-Email Follow-Up Loop
Allow me to explain exactly how this is going to work.
- You are going to have four emails that focus on promoting one offer.
- Each email focuses on a specific goal and links to a ClickFunnels landing page.
- After you complete the fourth email, you repeat the process with a different offer.
And here the main goals of each email:
- Email 1: Value (goes to a landing page with helpful info & call to action button).
- Email 2: Value (goes to a landing page with helpful info & call to action button).
- Email 3: Review (goes to a landing page with product review & call to action button).
- Email 4: Promo (goes to a landing page with bonus info & call to action button).
Allow me to give you examples of what each landing page would look like.
Value Emails & The ClickFunnels Landing Pages
So this is a perfect example of the ClickFunnels landing page for affiliate marketing.
Here are the important elements:
- Headline (small call to action under it).
- A video that provides valuable information (that’s the main goal).
- Lastly, there is a button for when you lightly talk about the offer you’re recommending.
Even though you’re giving away a lot of helpful information?
There’s still the opportunity for those to grab the offer you lightly mention.
Pretty cool right?
So that’s what a landing page looks like coming from a value email.
Onto the next type of email and accommodating landing page.
Review Emails & The ClickFunnels Landing Pages
If it looks similar to the last ClickFunnels landing page?
It’s because it is.
I use the same template and then just edit the:
- Headline.
- Video in the middle.
- And of course the button text on the bottom.
Helpful Hint: I recommend that you create a template that you can re-use, too.
Here are the important elements when it comes to this review page:
- Headline (small call to action under it).
- A video that reviews the helpful offer (that’s the main goal).
- Lastly, a button with your affiliate link for the same helpful offer.
So right now you might be asking?
Why are we sending to landing pages, and not a website or YouTube?
Well here’s the reason for that.
There are zero distractions on the landing pages that you’ve seen above.
They can either:
- Watch the video (and/or).
- Click on the button to see the affiliate offer.
Having fewer distractions makes it better for both you and your visitors.
Let’s move onto the last type of email and landing page now.
Promo Emails & The ClickFunnels Bonus Pages
So this page is ALL about promoting your affiliate offer.
You’re going to do that with the help of custom-made bonuses.
Affiliate Tip: Bonuses are one of the best ways to increase your conversions.
Here are the important elements when it comes to this bonus page:
- Headline (small call to action under it).
- A video that talks about the bonuses that you offer.
- A button that links to the affiliate offer you’re promoting.
- Lastly, a list of the bonuses that you’re offering along with the benefits.
You can also sprinkle a few more buttons as you move down the page (like at the end, too).
But that is the complete process when it comes to the 4-email follow-up loop.
You can promote any type of offer that you want (which includes CB offers too).
Let’s now move onto the end of this post.

There is also the option of just using ClickFunnels all by itself.
