I highly recommend that you still keep reading on for even more helpful information.

Let’s start by talking about what Unbounce has to offer.

Getting To Know Unbounce: The Features And Pricing

unbounce ease of use

Unbounce is a software platform that is very easy to describe:

You can create custom landing pages – no coding required.

Not only can you design beautiful landing pages when using Unbounce?

But they’re also designed to help you convert more.

Unbounce is different from Webflow because they aren’t about that website life.

In fact, here is what Unbounce has to say about websites on their website:

While websites are great for information and exploration, they’re duds at turning traffic into revenue.

I agree for the most part.

Either way, Unbounce comes with a completely free trial to test them out.

Even better, you can get a heft discount to go along with that free trial.

I’ll add an article down below that explains how all of that Unbounce magic happens:

So that’s a quick little introduction when it comes to what Unbounce offers.

Now let’s take a look at the process of creating pages and the tools that you get.

Unbounce Landing Pages And Websites

unbounce drag and drop builder

As you’ll see with Webflow, Unbounce also comes with quite a few landing page templates.

In fact, there are 101 total templates that you can use (at the time of writing this article).

Unbounce also segments its pages into categories to make your life a little easier.

Here are a few of the categories that this landing page platform gives you:

  • Industry-specific landing pages (like fitness and real estate).
  • Coaching and consulting landing pages.
  • Lead generation landing pages.
  • Click-through landing pages.

Keep in mind that the list above is only a few of the categories that Unbounce offers.

After choosing your landing page template, you have the luxury of using their editor.

They have quite the smooth drag-and-drop editor too.

You can see what their page builder looks like in the screenshot down below:

Ironically enough, both Unbounce and Webflow have similar editors (which you’ll see soon).

I imagine that you won’t come across many snags when it comes to editing your pages.

In fact, that’s one of the biggest reasons why Unbounce is a top landing page builder.

They are pretty darn simple to use.

Here are the steps that you’ll need for editing anything on your landing pages:

  • Click on the appropriate elements on the left side (shown above).
  • It will then tell you: click + hold to drag onto the page.
  • Lastly, you can drag it anywhere and edit it.

Unbounce also has quite a few helpful perks for your landing pages that you’ll love.

Two of these perks include the ability to create popups and sticky bars.

Related: How Unbounce sticky bars work.

If you have a look at the image below, you can see a popup being edited:

When utilizing these features, you use the exact same drag-and-drop editor.

This is beneficial because you don’t have to learn any other new builder.

I should probably explain what popups and sticky bars in the first place:

  • Popups attach to any page and get triggered when a specific action is taken.
  • Sticky bars sit at the bottom or top of any page and are great for increasing conversions.

I use these all the time, and you might have even seen one or two of them on my site here.

They are beneficial because they allow you to increase and maximize your:

  • Clicks.
  • Leads generated.
  • And don’t forget about sales.

I use both popups and sticky bars and I highly recommend that you do as well.

Unbounce also has plenty more features than what I’ve mentioned so far.

I’ll add my Unbounce review where you can really see what they have to offer you.

That link is perfect for getting started as quickly as possible:

So that’s the first part of the Unbounce vs Webflow comparison.

Let’s flip the script now and talk a little bit about what Webflow has to offer you.

Getting To Know Webflow: Features And Pricing

webflow website builder

Webflow is going to be slightly different from what Unbounce has to offer.

As you can see in the screenshot that I added above, Webflow is:

The modern way to build for the web.

In other words, Webflow allows you to complete custom websites.

This is made thanks to their completely visual canvas while no code is needed.

You can also create landing pages with Webflow.

More about that topic very shortly too.

Similar to Unbounce, Webflow allows you to get started using them for free.

However, they can be free forever (just keep in mind that it’s very limited).

I’ll leave a link down below in case you need it:

So what exactly does Webflow have up to its sleeve when it comes to websites?

Let’s find out right now.

Webflow Websites And Landing Pages

use webflow website builders

I do have to say that I love what it says in the screenshot that I added above.

So if you’re looking to create a new project, that’s what you can expect to see.

After clicking on the New Project button, you get taken to the templates section.

Webflow has quite a wide variety of templates to choose from.

Here is a quick list of what you can expect to see in terms of categories:

  • Agency templates.
  • Restaurant templates.
  • eCommerce templates.
  • Free templates (they also have many paid templates as well).

And Webflow even has a section for landing page templates.

However, all of the templates that they offer come with a premium price tag.

I’ll add an example of a few landing page templates that you can see down below:

use webflow html css

Overall, I counted 40 templates just for creating landing pages (all of which are paid).

However, Webflow has plenty of free templates when it comes to creating your websites.

I think it’s important to address this matter first.

  • Webflow is primarily about websites but also offers landing page creation.
  • Unbounce is all about landing pages.

It’s pretty easy to see the difference overall.

This means that Webflow is going to have more features when it comes to websites.

And that also means that Unbounce will have more landing page related features.

Now, I ended up choosing one of the preset and free templates that Webflow offers.

You can see the top part of it along with the editor that Webflow provides for you:

webflow html css and javascript

Webflow is also very helpful when it comes to their beginner tutorial.

After you get started, they walk you through what you need to know for creating a site.

It’s a pretty simple process.

It only takes a few minutes but it gives you a good idea about how to work their editor.

As you can see from the editor screenshot that I added above, you’re allowed to:

  • Utilize eCommerce for selling products.
  • Add pictures and texts (along with changing the size and color).
  • Add many different types of elements (sections, grids, containers, blocks).

And many of the other great features that you’d expect from a website editor.

But what else does Webflow have to offer in terms of features?

Webflow comes complete with a ton of micro-features for creating your websites.

You can check them out by using the link that I added down below:

So we know that Webflow is going to come with a completely free plan.

However, how much are they going to cost when it comes to their premium plans?

Let’s have a look at that next.

What’s The Webflow Pricing?

webflow pricing information

So Webflow is going to have two different batches of pricing plans.

As shown above, they are going to depend on if you use a Site or eCommerce plan.

Let’s start first what the Webflow Site pricing plans are first.

Webflow Site Plans

  • Basic is $12 per month.
  • CMS is $16 per month.
  • Business is $36 per month.
  • Enterprise you will need to contact them.

You can also save 15% if you choose annual subscriptions with Webflow.

Now let’s take a look at the pricing plans for eCommerce.

Webflow eCommerce Plan

  • Standard is $29 per month.
  • Plus comes out to $74 per month.
  • Advanced is going to be $212 per month.

Please keep in mind that every pricing plan is going to come with many different perks.

These are just the prices that you can expect to pay if using a premium plan.

That’s a good amount of info when it comes to the Unbounce vs Webflow comparison.

Who should you pick when it comes to these two online business platforms?

Spoiler alert, the outcome is going to be similar when Unbounce battled Wix.
