Phonesites Review: Demo, Overview, And Cost
The reviews for Phonesites are mixed.
- On the one hand, some people say it’s great software for creating landing pages.
- On the other hand, others say it’s not that great.
What’s the deal?
I’ll review both sides of the story and help you decide if Phonesites is worth your time.
What Is Phonesites?
Phonesites is a neat little software that can help you build landing pages.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention, you can create these pages on your phone.
This, in my opinion, is what makes Phonesites so darn unique.
I’ve tested, used, and reviewed so many landing pages and sales funnel software tools.
And so far, Phonesites is the first software that gives you this unique ability.
To further help you get a better understanding of this tool, here is their tagline:
Phonesites helps small businesses turn visitors into leads.
It gets better, too.
Easily build landing pages from your phone and let our AI do all the writing.
Yes, Phonesites does also come with an AI feature which I’ll be showing you as well.
So if you’re an online (or offline) business owner, and you’d like to:
- Make more sales.
- Generate more leads.
- Quickly create landing pages on your phone.
- Have the ability to follow up by email and/or text.
- As well as be able to have AI write a lot of your sales copy?
Then this is software that you should at least try out to see how much you like it.
Ironically enough, Phonesites comes with a free trial where you can demo them as I did.
Let’s get started with my official review of Phonesites now.
Phonesites Review Introduction: Features Walkthrough And Cost
So I heard about Phonesites from Ryan Stewman and his podcast a little while back.
I never took a look at it, until I did, and then realized that it was a very unique product.
That being said, let’s take a look at the landing page builder aspect first.
I’m going to be using the desktop version for this review since it’s easier to showcase.
When you’re at the dashboard, you click on the top button that says Create New Website.
From there, you have the option of:
- Using a blank website.
- Or using a template that they give you.
Personally, I love using templates because it’s so much faster to get started.
Let’s get started now.
Phonesites Landing Page Builder Demo
So Phonesites comes with quite a few templates that you can pick from.
At the time of creating this review, there are almost 70 of them that you can use.
Note: I only imagine that they will be adding even more in the future.
You can see a few of the simple ones in the screenshot that I added above.
Aside from those, there are plenty more templates to help you with various niches/goals.
As an example, templates can be used for:
- Fitness.
- Restaurants.
- Free eBooks.
- Affiliate marketing.
- Health and beauty.
- FB messenger optin.
- Contractors and real estate.
And there’s plenty more where those came from.
In fact, here is an example of a different template so that you can see what it looks like:
I will say that the templates might not be the prettiest ones in the world.
However, when it comes to landing pages, that doesn’t matter as much as you think.
I talk about this all the time, but the simplest landing pages usually convert the best.
With that being said, I’m going to use the short opt-in template that Phonesites has.
This type of template is going to be perfect for:
- Generating leads (for any business or niche).
- As well as following up with them.
Here is what the top of the template looks like before you go to edit it:
There are two pages that come with this mini sales funnel:
- The short opt-in page (which you can see half of up above).
- The short opt-in thank you page where you give a call to action.
I’m going to click on the blue Install Now button so that I can make changes to this template.
You’ll then be able to choose a few settings when it comes to your landing pages:
For this example, I want to install both of the pages here (for obvious reasons).
I’ll also be using a new website for the location, and the subdomain will be called free.
Note: You can give your new website subdomain any name that you like.
However, this example is going to be giving out a free PDF (that’s how I got to the name).
Extra Note: The subdomain name was already taken, so I created a random one instead.
Lastly, I clicked on the Install 2 Pages button to move to the next step.
So let’s take a look at the settings that you can utilize for the landing pages here:
- Pages tab: this is where we are now and can edit, view, copy, or delete pages.
- Leads tab: this is where your leads will show up once you get them.
- Config tab: you can edit domain details as well as other details.
- Stats tab: consider this your spot for analytics.
Either way, I am going to edit the first Short Opt-In Page that’s on top.
So, my first impressions were that it’s very easy to edit your landing pages.
Of course, that’s always a good thing.
I think the biggest reason for this is that Phonesites isn’t weighed down by excessive tools.
There’s less to focus on, and that makes for a much easier process.
Below is an example of what it looks like when you’re making edits to your landing page:
So here are the steps that I’ve come up with when it comes to making edits:
- Click on the section that you’d like to edit.
- Click on the pencil icon on the left side of the section (you can see above).
- Make the appropriate edits that you need (text, pictures, toggling settings, etc).
As also shown in the screenshot above, you can pick the fields that you want to use.
For me personally, I don’t like asking for a name as it can lower conversions.
However, there are going to be times when you need it and that’s perfectly fine.
Here is the final landing page that I built (warning: it’s super simple):
You are free to add images, videos, or logos if you like.
For me personally, opt-in pages like above always convert the best for me.
What it comes down to is getting the headline and the lead magnet correct.
That’s what matters the most.
Lastly, editing the thank you page works in the same way as I just talked about.
Here is what the final thank you landing page looks like.
Note: I scrolled down so that you could see to the bottom of the landing page.
That’s why it looks like the top half of my head got cut off (it’s still there, I think).
What’s great about this mini sales funnel is the fact that it was very quick to build.
- You don’t need to be a tech wizard.
- You also don’t need to have experience with creating landing pages.
Just have an idea of what you want to create, and put it together with their templates.
So there is another big feature that comes along with Phonesites that I’d like to talk about.
Phonesites AI Writer
This is going to be a very helpful feature for a lot of business owners.
In simplest terms, you can have this software write a lot of your sales copy and text.
As you can see in the screenshot above, you can get writing done for you with:
- Blog ideas.
- Google ads.
- Facebook ads.
- Product descriptions.
- Landing page headlines.
- Facebook ads for promotions.
Those are just the six examples that you can see above, as there are plenty more.
I want to list them for you so that you know exactly what you can expect from this feature:
- Email.
- Summary.
- Blog intro.
- Listicle idea.
- Blog outline.
- Content rephrase.
- Feature to benefit.
- Pain. Agitate. Solution.
I’m going to go with the blog intro since my intros definitely need some work overall.
Here is what their AI writer looks like after you pick what you’d like to create:
So here are the steps that you need to run in order to make the magic happen:
- Add your blog title as an example.
- Click on the Generate button.
Very difficult to do, I know (sarcasm, of course) 🙂
Here is what I decided to use as my example blog title:
Phonesites Review: Is This Software Worth Using?
Phonesites ended up spitting out five different examples that I can pick from.
If you don’t happen to like any, you can always generate more or change your title.
Here is an example of an intro that I ended up liking:
Phonesites is a new software for real estate agents that’s supposed to help them sell more homes. It’s a pretty straightforward idea, but does it work? Here’s a review of the pros and cons.
I like this one based on the accuracy of what the AI writer gave me.
I wouldn’t use it, simply because it’s software for more than just real estate agents.
Of course, I can always edit out that part if I like.
I’ve also noticed that their AI might be off sometimes, this is when it comes to accuracy.
Note: This is something that every AI writer is going to experience though.
Here is an example of a blog intro that wasn’t correct when it comes to Phonesites:
Phonesites is a software designed to help users find unused phone numbers. It’s a great idea in theory. But does it work? I tested it out to find out. Here are the pros and cons of this software.
So that’s just something that you need to be aware of when it comes to AI writers.
That’s why you can always generate more sales copy to see what you like the best.
Overall, I changed the example title and got much better results.
The intro that I have at the top is actually something that I got from this software.
Not too shabby.
You might be wondering if Phonesites comes along with any integrations.
I also got you covered there.
Phonesites Integrations
Integrations are always a big part of using any type of software.
In case it’s harder to see the image above, here are the 3rd party integrations:
- Stripe.
- Zapier.
- Chiirp.
- Twillio.
- Aweber.
- MailChimp.
- Google ReCaptcha (those things are so annoying).
Those are just the integrations at the time, they can always add more.
For the most part, software tools usually do add more as they get bigger and bigger.
Either way, allow me to answer one of the most popular Phonesites questions.
How Much Is Phonesites?
Here are the 3 Phonesites pricing plans:
- The Essential Phonesites plan is $49 per month.
- The Unlimited Phonesites plan is $99 per month.
- The Unlimited Phonesites and Unlimited AI Writer plan is $148 per month.
As you can see from the screenshot above, each of the plans comes with various perks.
A big note is that the AI writer only comes with the final plan if you want to utilize that.
I talk about this in much more detail in the related post that I added down below.
Related: Phonesites Pricing.
You can also just take Phonesites for a free spin and test out the features yourself.
So you have a good idea of what Phonesites is capable of doing and how it can help you.
Let’s wrap up this Phonesites review and move to the final conclusion.
Phonesites Review: Summary Conclusion
So Phonesites certainly hits the bullseye when it comes to uniqueness.
However, there are going to be some pros and cons when it comes to this software.
After all, no software is perfect.
Let’s talk about a couple of potential dislikes first.
Phonesites Dislikes
- Limited features (this is something I like)
- Some of the AI writing came out of left field (inaccuracy).
So I put limited features as a dislike since some people might not like that.
Phonesites isn’t one of those software tools that has everything under the sun.
They are all about building landing pages (even from your phone).
And they’re pretty darn good at that.
However, you might not want to use them for utilizing advanced features.
The reason for that is that they don’t have too many of them.
Lastly, some of the AI writing wasn’t a proper match to what I was creating.
This is also very common when it comes to AI, but I wanted to make you aware of it.
That’s why you can just keep generating more content to get the best match.
Let’s flip the script and talk about what I like now.
Phonesites Likes
- Very easy to use.
- It’s nice to have the AI writer option.
- You can create ultra-simple landing pages.
- There is a wide variety of templates that you can utilize.
Phonesites is pretty straightforward, as you get what you pay for.
While it might not be as dominating as full-blown sales funnel software tools?
It’s quite the unique software and is certainly worth testing out their free trial:
And that just about does it.
Thanks for taking the time to read more about this Phonesites review.
I hope that you enjoy putting together your landing pages with this software.
